i have an HKS SSQV. great sound, not annoying at all can barely hear it if you have the radio on. ALso maybe someone can answer this for me. Why does everyone say go 50/50 instead of 100% atmospheric? I have no idling issues, i dont run rich, the car doesnt hitchike/stumble and the bov doesnt leak at all. I just dont see where the issues come from

if this is going on to an otherwise stock car a 100% could destroy your cats in time. it will be rich after every vent and cause a burst of fuel to go into the cats. remember there is one cat before the turbo and it will be the first one to get screwed up by this.

It depends on the type of sound that he want's, different brands, will make different types of noises. One thing alot of guys are doing, is going with a short ram intake, you will definately be able to hear the factory bov dump with a new intake installed. This is a alternative to buying a blow off valve, but still getting the "psshhttt" sound.

cheapest way to make sound is to remove the blow off return hose , routing towards the intake. TXS-Type H and type H RFLs are nice and loud if u like the attention.
