The clutch pedal assembly neutral safety switch can be bypassed with a simple jumper but you should really consider what can happen if you do this mod. I've done it just because I like to be able to lean into the car from outside and crank the engine over, but if you ever allow anyone else to drive your car, or if you have a remote start device, then it isn't a very wise thing to bypass. Removing the jumper also acts as a poor man's theft deterrent since the starter circuit will be disabled unless the thief figures it out and has some wire handy to jump the switch contacts.
