I'm running the ca. stage 2 map and don't have any complaints so far, if you're paranoid just get a pro tune with the gas you plan on running.

it's about 1.1 bar onrthe stock boost guage.

Thumbs up Base run on the dyno on 6/10/2006

I just installed the 91 octane stage 2 of the shelf map and had Mike @ Gruppe-S do a Protune and he suggested to just put the stock airbox back to bump up the torque. My car ran 273.9 awhp @ 6000rpm & 274.7 Torque @ 4000rpm consistently. He said if that if I put the stock airbox back it should jump to 285 torque! Mike was telling me that Cobb has been asking for input on their off the shelf maps that come with the access port and that they are so good now that you dont even have to Protune it unless you make a major upgrade like a new turbo or front mount intercooler. I was running a Injen cold air intake and it was making my car run a little lean and it was reducing my torque. He didnt even Protune the car cuz it was running so well with the off the shelf map. Also keep in mind that my car was tested on a Mustang Dyno which reads the lowest out of all dyno's out there. So yea, my car is running the 91 octane stage 2 California map.

wOW.... You are putting down 273 whp on a stage 2? That crazy? Cobb estimate 273 for a vf34 turbo upgrade with all other stage 2 mods???

Im guessing ZeroGsti has an STI... not a WRX... which means he already has the VF39... hence his numbers are exactly where they need to be except for the Torque... hes missing out a good chunk there because of the CAI... the stock airbox would yield him better torque and overall safer/richer conditions

My car was protuned the other day at Gruppe-s and Mike did a baseline dyno of the CA stage 2 map. It made pretty good power for an OTS map, but it was running a little bit lean. I've never had a CAI, or K&N, etc. on my car. It was just running a little bit lean.
