Whoa.. Finaly able to post. (A boost question)

Hi everybody.

I am new here, was trying to post or reply for quite a while now. For some reason,
I couldn't. Anyway.

My 03 wasn't going past .8 MPa no matter what. The only way I could go to 1MPa is when I plugged in Perrin MBC.... I notice people saying that it's not a good idea,
but, I just wanted to see what happens. O, and the turbo spools up much faster now.??
Here is what I have so far:

STI intercoller
Perrin Y-pipe and inlet hose
Perrin MBC
Perrin down pipe
Mad Dad 3" mated to STI muffler.

Up untill I installed MBC, all those didn't make big difference, exept sound.
Any Ideas, suggestions?

Just wanted to know how come MBC made my tubo spool faster?
I spoke with a tech at RallySpec, and he said that MBC for WRX with stock turbo is a very bad idea as it tends to keep constant boost level through RPM.
I took it off and now can't get past 0.5MPa with boost comming in at 3000 RPM
I reset ECU this mornig, wil see what happens.

well when you use a MBC youre manually selecting the boost level, its not going to fluctuate as per ECU mapping.. take it off, you could damage your engine... look into ECU tunes... COBB AP is one many will recommend... or if you like dyno tunes... go for that... just be safe on your baby, take care of her

I am keeping boost under 14psi. The thing is with MBC I have much faster spoolup.
And because my rex is AT it rarely goes over 4500rpm only when I push it very hard mostly on highway enter ramps.
I am planning on ecu tune soon, posted a question on a new thread so please respond to that. https://www.i-club.com/forums/engine-management-66/ecutech-reflash-vs-cobb-acessport-104646/
I need more info
