Does anyone have a recomendation of where i can buy a DeltaECU?
Maybe from someone who will answer my e-mails... I do not need tech info... just a vendor who can sell me one..

You cannot physically buy an ECUTek. ECUTek is just software that is liscensed out to tuning companies. I am sure that I-Speed is really busy as to why they have not responded to you. I would just keep trying. Also Just to let you know, since it is not a physical piece of hardware, you need them to tune it. I am sure that you do not want to pay them to fly all the way out from California to Indiana.

I've been tuning RX-7's for years and just came back to the piston world when I bought the WRX. TUning the WRX will be cake work compared the fickle rotaries I am used to.
From the way I understand it, the DeltaECU is software... but there has to be a place to buy it... and there has to be an availible interface to tune it...
I am looking forward to it. After many many haltech & Microtech installs IN RX-7's The deltaecu will be seem like plug and play

here is where you can buy a ecu remap. Not sure that they sell an ecu itself, you may just have to send yours in.

Ecutek's Delta ECU is basically an ECU remap based on your modifications. There are a dozen or so authorized Ecutek dealers that have been building maps for different configurations for months.
A bone stock car gets like 30HP gains from just the base remap! This is a great thing to read about.
On to your question as to where to get your reflash done at....
Here is a list of all athorized dealers in the US and their website.

With that said, there are only a few though that are worth mentioning....
Dyno-comp has reflashes for a lot less then other places.
Vishnu Tuning has an abundance of maps as they were one of the first.
i-speed is actually a great vendor and more customer friendly
Lastly Ken at Rally Performance is excellent.
The steps though to get a reflash is to find a local tuner that is authorized and get flashed at his shop, or you'll have to schedule an appointment and ship your ECU to said tuner via overnight service. The tuner will then ship it back with the same urgency.
As an alternative, there is a company called Cobb Tuning that also has a reflash service. Their price is almost half what an Ecutek dealer charges, but they are still relatively new on their maps. They really only cater to minor bolt ons. www.cobbtuning.com

If you go with Vishnu though they have a core charge. So you can have them send you a remapped ecu and then ship yours back once the new one comes. If you have no other car this is probably the best bet. THere may also be other companies that will sell you an ecu with a core charge which would probably be the only real option if it is your only car.

I hope you realize that tuning the stock ecu is not as simple as it sounds. If you have ever seen the software there are soo many parameters that you have to take into account as to what you change on the maps. The biggest advantage of having someone ECUTek your car is that you get the smoothness and reliable power.
everyone is wrong!
LOL
Ecutek is a company that makes ecu's and ecu programming software.
They have a few software pieces but what we are interested in is:
DeltaECU: this is the software that allows you to reflash the ECU. It will allow you to view and modify the ecu's maps. YOU CANNOT buy this software unless you are a licensed tuning shop.
Delta DASH: is a program that the general public can purchase to data log. if you have had an ecutek reflashed ecu then you can tune certain parameters such as boost/WGDC/timing/fuel/knock learning /etc HOWEVER this is an ACROSS THE BOARDS change. you cannot add/remove timing at specific rpm ranges.
the reason reflashed ecutek ecu's are expensive is because ECUTEK charges a license fee for each ecu the tuner flashes.
if you want complete control over tunning your WRX get a UTEK or Xede.

now THAT is a good question. I would call them up www.ecutek.com and see what requirements you need.
