What Gauges to get?

I am wanting to get some Defi gauges to go in my Defi Gauge pod. I don't know what gauges I really need to have. I know the Boost gauge but other than that what else? I would like to know what all of you think and what you are running.

if you do alot of work always keep in mined of the exhaust temp, the boost ofcourse and the air/fuel ratio guege. The main 3 i could think of that you need.

I've got Boost, EGT, and oil pressure. The first two are almost required, the third is really up to you. normally only 3 gauges are not enough anyways so it's a compromise no matter what you choose.

Please explain. I went from Autometer mechanical gauges and now have Greddy electronic ones. Other then the 150% price increase going with Greddy's, I dont see any benefit other then having 60mm over 52.

Boost is still at the same reading and smooth with either gauge. How again is Electronic better?

Well I am going to get Boost and EGT gauges but I can't decide between a Fuel Pressure OR a Oil Pressure gauge for my third gauge. Which one is more important?

Like I said in a previous post. The third gauge is always a compromise. Ideally you want all of them and even oil temp, water temp, wideband A/F, and a knock meter... But then you have a damn F16 cockpit

i would have to say that it ulitmately depends on your mods. personally..again PERSONALLY, i would go with the egt, boost, and air/fuel.

what's done to your car or what plans do you have for it?

No biggie your previous statement made it sound like all mecahnical gauges were junk. I do agree though to some extent that some mechanical gauges have no place in a car. Oil pressure is one. But any gauge that reads a fluid from inside the cabin is something that I wouldn't trust over time.
