Valve Seals

I have an 02 wrx with about 25K miles on it. I have traveled to my parents home about 3.5 hours away in North East PA a few times over the past couple of months.
About 3 months ago I drove home on a Friday, my car sat still all weekend until I left on Sunday afternoon. When I started the car I saw a puff of smoke from the exhaust. About a month later it happened again, and again last month. It does not go through oil and the only time it smokes is when I go home. I even let the turbo cool for about 10 minutes prior to shutting the car off (I usually let it cool for 5 min during daily driving). I have left my car sit for 2 days here (MD) and it has not smoked when I started it.
My guess is a valve seal and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.
