Up Pipe/Down Pipe question

which of these gets priority and also I know I need to either reflash the ECU or get an AP.. so far the car has a full cat-back exhaust, HKS Carbon.. just need direction on which to go with and if the UP/DP are a good next mod.. thnx

Don't bother picking which is priority, UP/DP. Do both at the same time. you need to take out the DP to install the UP, and it is quite a pain to do it. Save your $ and buy both UP & DP, then install them both at the same time.

I recommend you finding a good shop to install it for you. Unless you want to be adventurous and do it yourself. I have heard of people taking as long as 11 hrs to complete the UP/DP install.

Personally I rather work a day extra and save up the $ to get a quality shop to install it.

I prefer AP, but that's just my personal opinion.

Just my 5 cents...

I agree do both at the same time becaue to do the UP you will need to remove the DP anyway. I didn't take 11 hrs to do the work by myself more like 4-5 :

well I am retarded...

well, I heard the longest is 11 hrs. Frankly, I give up after 1 hr considering I always have an extra screw somewhere by the time I am done.

Anyways I would suggest, if you are mechanically proficient, go ahead and do the UP/DP @ the same time. If you are like me that always ends with w/ an extra screw somewhere... get a quality shop that is familiar w/ Subys and let them do it.
