Starting tutorials on Fuel Management

Does anyone have any links for someone starting out with Fuel Management (stock ECU or otherwise) for Subarus (specifically the EJ20T)?

I am at an impass with my car currently, to the point where I need to consider getting an upgraded ECU, but I do not know how to tune fuel maps. I know that I will probably be better off having someone else tune them once I get an ECU upgrade or Stanalone FMC, but I would still like to know what's giong on.

I can't find anything on the net except for small and large block american applications.

That might be a good sticky FAQ on this forum for those of us who are stubborn (err, hands on I mean).

Thanks in advance.
