So im pretty new to the whole turbo deal, and recently got a cobb ap v2 and i was looking through there website at all the maps and saw one for the vf34, which i later read at different places that its known as Stage 2.5....this might come off as a stupid question but i wanna know if that map can be flashed with the stock turbo in the 04 wrx that i have, or do i have to buy a vf34??? im kinda lost...

i would not recomend doing this b/c the map is tuned for a bigger turbo runing more boost, an STI intercooler/ STI fuel injectors and so on. if your running stock turbo your probably running stock f/i and tmic sooooo no i would not do that !!!

 

I see...Thats what i was thinking also. I just had to make sure. I am looking into upgrading to a vf34 though. Thatll definitely be awhile!

 

the 34 tune is NOT designed for the mods/turbo on your car. get a turbo back exhaust, larger top mount intercooler and flash the stage 2 map on your car. do more research too
