hi all, i need a bit of help setting up my safc II. i am running a 2.2l n/a high compression engine in a 93 legacy.

i have already wired up the safc, and it appears to be working correctly. what i need help with is setting up the type of air flow sensor. just so you know what i am dealing with, i am using a safc II and trying to tune it with a safc I manual. where you input the sensor no. it looks like this:

Sens. no
IN OUT
01 01

according to the app chart the legacy uses a HW 10 sensor. does this mean that i sould change the screen to read:

sens. no
IN OUT
10 10

also, to toggle the original safc between setup mode and running mode you press the foreward and backward buttons at the same time for .5 seconds. however, the safc II has a joystick-like control with a **** around it. how do you toggle the safc II between setup mode and running mode?

sorry about the long post, but i want to make sure everyone can tell what i am talking about.

does anyone have any idea what i am talking about? if i am not being clear enough then i will elaborate further... this is something that i dont want to make a mistake on... if no one knows what i need to know exactly then how are the sensor types set up for different subaru models?

when i got my safc II the only english directions that apex had on the net were for the original safc. i went back there last nite and they had the newer directions posted. i was getting pretty tired of trying to compare english safc I directions to japanese safc II directions!

anyway, turns out that i had my hot wire settings correct. thanks for the help!
