Question any cons for reflash?

It seems that many advocate a reflash as the best bang for your buck.. are there any negatives to doing this i.e. voided warranty, drivability, mileage, more lag, etc..
thanks

A reflashed ECU is grounds for warranty denial. However, it can be reflashed back to stock, so...

Most tuners tune for drivability and reliability over max power, so that is probably not an issue.
