Running Lean

So my headers cracked and now I got new ones, when I was taking the headers off I noticed the inside was white, so then I looked at the valves and noticed they were also white, something that usually means that the engine is running lean, any ideas?
Mods: K&N, Samco y-pipe, Supersprint Headers, Supersprint Cat-less up-pipe, Supersprint 2.5" Cat-less turbo-back. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thanx in advance...

You never know around here....
It may well be lean, but that is usually accompanied by knock and hesitation. Have someone follow you a couple times- if you get white smoke, even puffs, it's definitely coolant.
