just reset your computer. To do so:
1) disconnect the negative battery terminal
2) Leave it disconnected for about 10 minutes.
3) Reconnect the terminal.
4) Turn off all accessories in the car; a/c, radio, rear defogger....
5) Turn on the car, leave it idle for another 10 minutes.
6) Take it out for a drive and let the computer start to learn your driving style. Drive it for about 30 min.
It may take 1/2 of the gas tank for the computer to completely learn the driving style. This doesn't mean that you have to continuously drive it until 1/2 of the tank is empty.

It won't harm your engine at all. Disconnecting the battery simply causes the ecu to be reset to the original factory map. Once you drive the car it will start to adjust timing and all that based upon driving style and present conditions. Subaru ecu's are notoriouse for how much control they have over the engine. Power can vary greatly based upon wht the ecu has "learned." I hate it when garages try to charge me for an "ecu reset" I never pay them for that little bit, all they did was disconnect a battery and cost me a tank of gas trying to get the power that I had back
