Protune?

is this really good, i was told i may have a protune, i am boostin 16psi in 3rd and forth

1st-10.5psi,
2nd-13psi
3rd-16psi
4th-16psi
5th-19psi

anyhelp figurin what i have done will help!

can't really tell by just boost on the gears. Its not stock for sure. You have to look at the map itself and some logs.

Some boost gauges are not very accurate.

Your boost values aren't determined or set by what gear you're in. At WOT you should have the same boost values in the same rpms in all gears, but your turbo and wastegate don't have too much time to react in first and 2nd. So 3rd-5th gears should all read about the same boost in the same rpm ranges.

From those numbers it looks like you're experiencing boost creep especially in 5th gear.

what is boost creep exactly...i have heard u dont have to worry bout it in 2.0l cars!

Boost creep is when your boost just keeps creeping up and will either throw a code which will cut fuel for a second or keep creeping and cause serious damage to your engine.

Your displacement has nothing to do with boost creep. If anything it's worse for the smaller 2.0's.

every site tells me that the 2.5 has it worse!!! they say whenever u add a catless 3" dp to ur car u get boost creep on a 2.5 ONLY..2.0's never have this problem! but i dont know.. im gettin a new tune here soon.... by tim bailey hopefully!

oh ya and for some reason now that i have a new clutch it is goin to 19 psi way less often!!! it goes to like 17 and holds!

Over boost fuel cut is not the same thing as boost creep.

i dont think i have either....but i dont have fuel cut at all!!! and im runnin a stock dp gutted and i thought boost creep only happened on 3" bell mouth dp's or so ive heard!
