I have found quite a few different performance upgrade kits including turbos from several different companies such as COBB, AVO, Intense Motorsports, JSC Speed, and so on. Most of these can push a stock WRX hard enough to break 12's and even get into the 10's. Do you think I should upgrade my car piece by piece or should I go with the full package deal? Also, can a stock WRX tranny hold up with 400+hp?

 

I would go with a FULL pkg. as it will save more labor than piecing one together.Less headaches than asking your Suby brethren all the time "why won't my ___ work with my___ and I always get a____ when I ___. You understand what I mean?

Just my opinion.


Not sure about the tranny. It may depend on how hard you drive it. You could probably break the gearbox with the motor in stock form if you wanted to try.
