No boost for you!
Hey everyone...
K, turbos are new to me, and I am having one helluva time trying to figure this one out:
Problem:
Car will not boost beyond WG tension spring, so with the Tial 38mm WG, I see a consistant 10-11psi. Initial problem was the lines on the top of the WG and side were reversed - although highly entertaining, I didn't think the motor would last too long pushing 30psi. So after correcting that, I discovered that the 4mm vacum line on the HKS evc 2 was in fact hooked up to the same vacum port that the fuel regulator was - correcting that problem gave me almost 1.0 bar more of fuel pressure. I have gone through all lines, reset the EVC, checked the filters etc etc etc.
One thing that did come to mind was insuring that the stock BC was in fact disconnected... however, I am not sure how to verify that.
I do not think there is anything wrong with the EVC - it does not throw any errors, appears to work, display works etc.
A buddy and myself have just spent the last couple of hours trying to figure this out, but we are at a loss.
Any input here would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
