I just got my Blitz FMIC installed and the car runs really bad. Got a CEL so the car is in limp mode for now. But when I reset the ECU and run the car hard it seems that the car falls on its face at 5500 rpm. Triple checked all the piping and connections and there arent any leaks. Got a stock up and down with stock boost on a stock boost controller. Anyone have any ideas. I got the CEL codes pulled and it said that Cylinders 1 and 2 are misfiring. EGTs are saoring whenever Im hitting boost which probably means Im running lean. Is my turbo running out of breath up top?? A few shops told me that it is and that I needed a boost controller to up the boost. Would this be wise?? Any help is really really appreciated.

 

If you are already running lean you don't want more boost. More boost means more air, which means less fuel in the mixture. If anything you will want to turn boost down until you find out what the problem is. I don't really have any suggestions on what could have happened, but I know that turning up boost(if you are knocking) will just make it knock worse.
