On my 2006 wrx my turbo starts to spool at 1500 rpm and is maxed out at 2500 rpm. It started out just In 5th gear and now it's doing it in gears 2-5. Also my check engine light came on and the cruise light is flashing

 

Do you have an AccessPort or any other type of tune done to your car?

Have you pulled the CEL code?

That's the problem the guy who owned it before me moded it and then switched it back to stock before he sold it to the dealer

 

So as of now, its bone stock?

How many miles? How long have you owned it?

By chance, is there a warranty still on it?
