How to Tune a UTEC

I have recently purchased and installed a TurboXS UTEC. All is good and it works as advertised. I was thinking I would like to get in and do some "tweaking" to see if I could make any improvements. Now keep in mind I know very little other than what I have read about how to approach this.
To try and learn more I started comparing the Stage 1 to Stage 2 maps and found they are identical? I looked at the Stage 3 default map and and it had only minor changes. I guess I was expacting to see differences that would give me an idea of tweaks to get better performance.
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge with tuning UTECs or any computer and be able to provide some guidance or direction. The basic map seems good for my car (no knock etc). I guess I could leave well enough alone but its against my nature. If this is answered somewhere else I have not been able to find it. I called TurboXS to get there "tuning guide" to find they have not released it yet.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

the TXS stage 1 map is not identical to the stage 2 map. look closely.
im not sure if you have found it yet, but www.wrxhackers.com is an invaluble source for information on tuning the UTEC.
if you havent yet, try to make the change to closed loop boost. i noticed alot better boost control after that change.
hope that helps and good luck!
