how many catalic converters do you have?

Yea its the intake. Switch back to stock intake and reset your ecu (disconnect battery and pump the brakes a couple times, connect the battery the next morning). Try that. With your exhaust you should have no cats.

If your going to do ECU upgrade like that you could leave the intake but it still won't be necessary for just having a downpipe and exhaust. You could get the car tuned either way w/ or w/out the intake but with just a few mods the stock intake will work just fine.

BTW most people start using intakes when they have turbo and FMIC modifications. Look on Cobb Tuning's website they have some good tech articles on there that explain it.
