how do i fix these codes?

how do i fix these codes?

i was throwing 2 codes and i was woundering how i can fix them the codes were

P0457 emisson controll system leak cap
and then
P2096 system to lean..

my mods are gtspec headers and uppipe, helix dp, jic exhaust, hks shortram intake, blitz bov... those are all my motor mods so any sugestions on how to fix it so i dont throw any codes?

you should take off your intake and BOV first and see what happens.

i have the same problem. i have the stock tmic and an aem intake. does the intake really affect the p code?

Get the Actron CP9135 from Advanced auto parts. Its only like $60 and well worth the money.

i rented that code reader from autozone. its a piece of ****. it doesnt really do much.

did you install a fuel pump---that code means there is a vapor loss either a hose off in the engine compartment or a leaking fuel pump gasket..install the stock air box and disconnect the battery for up to a half hour..see if that code comes back on for lean condition.
