Help with engine part ID

Could someone help me ID this part and possibly a part #. This is for a 1996 1.8 (ej-18). I think it may be the intake air temp. meter.

Car Info: 02 WRX

The part circled in red?
looks like a evaporate emissions sol. canister purge or somthing like that.
the inlet air temp sensor would be threaded in to the manifold
