Exhaust question...
i will be installing a non-catted downpipe, either helix or DC with a DC up-pipe...also a borla hush cat back exhaust...one of my buddies at work told me that the non-catted pipes kill your gas mileage...is this true? also has anyone have any experience with DC pipes?? thanks in advance

A little bit but not much. I think it is worth it. It makes sense though bigger pipe less restriction = more gas. Not too bad though. I have a helix catless and a greddy sp2 and i still get almost the same. Its only noticable when you really step on the gas. Its worth it if you want more power.

Scarface is right about putting in the dp and exhaust at the same time . What kind of car ? Any engine management cobb , Ecu-tek , hydra or motec ? Also , watch for that pesky o2 sensor . Anyway , good luck a tbe sounds really aggressive on a subbie . I'm running a Perrin cat/delete and 3 inch perrin exhaust .

it didnt kill it that much. Heres my theory on why upgrading the exhaust like that kills your MPG. With the extra power you push the car harder and more often, thus killing your MPG
EDIT: I'm running helix up/dp combo and the borla hush...sounds great and feels great. I'd definitely suggest getting an EMS too
