(eliminating) speed governor (on '96 2.2 liter)

speed govenor
OK I have a 96 impreza with a 2.2L engine. Is there any way to eliminate the stupid speed govenor on the thing without having the computer remaped? Please help I am in need to go faster then 112. It really sucks when your killing a stupid civic and the govenor hits and he flies by you and thinks he won.
