How much time do you have to tune? Tuning can be time consuming (Yeah, I probably suck at it). Here's my experience. Add UTEC and then tune. Add the exhaust then tune. Add the intercooler, then tune again. Add the turbo and injectors. You're still tuning. I got tired of running up to 110 for tuning runs. I'm just glad I was able to avoid the blinky blinky = Mr. Officer.

Reflashes seem cool. I'm just geographically challenged and can't wait that long for the ecu to make it's trips for reflashes. I realized that ACCESSPORT or XEDE might be better alternatives for me. Haven't tried either one but both seem to work on a reflash type of principle. At least I don't want to make tuning adjustments (The ABC, boost gain settings and set values for the boost curve).

Oh and this is was for the WRX.

By the way, you could just download the base maps for the UTEC and call it good and not have to tune. If you have the list of mods for any of the base maps you are set .... The XEDE and Accessport are similar in that they have basemap and also allow you to tune (accessport feature coming soon) so they are not any different from the UTEC just give or take a few features here and there. The base maps are already very good and put a decent margin of safety for you engine.
