ecu's ign adv multiplie & UTEC
Does the engines adv multiplier still come into play if you have a UTEC? When we first put down the base stage4 map after installing all the parts, it was almost knock free. Over the first week I had built up considerably more knock, for which I have nudged up fuel and nudged down timing. Could a changing adv multiplier be a possible cause of the change?

the stock ecu's advance multiplier is only going to come into play when the ECU is controlling timing, i.e. anytime the UTEC shows ECU in the timing map.

I've found that even slight changes in weather/temperature can affect my cars performance.
I live in Florida, and even in the summer the nighttime temps can be a full 20°(or more) cooler than the day temps....This can really play havoc with a tune...I've learned to be conservative with tuning, and I usually run some toluene in my fuel as knock 'headroom' insurance, too.
