ECU's
Well, I was decellerating to a stop last night, in my MAF 98 turboed 2.2L and my car died all of the sudden. When we tried to plug in the diagnostic computer, it wouldn't come on. After replacing all of the relays and getting nothing, it looks like the ECU is toast. What are my options at this point? Link? Does it take the place of a boost controller? Do I have to configure every little detail of the cars mundane functions?(radiator fans, etc..) Any advice will help. Thanks as always.

Well with a LINK you do have to set up everything. I'm going through this right now as we speak. It's not hard but it is frustrating. For my plug and play unit I had a basemap to work off of. For you, I think you may have to rely on others for a basemap. i-speed perhaps? Oh and there is a boost control function, it's an add-on module.
I'm sure there are half a dozen other ECU's you could try though.
