ECU for 2.2, again
Hey guys,
I was talked out of the proECM chips by quite a few guys, now I'm on the market again. Are there any other chips that will take my speed limiter out and NOT make my engine overheat. For those of you who havent read my other posts about these ECU's, people said they make your engine overheat and most people sell them after a year or two anyways. Also, my car's an EJ22 N/A.

For all the trouble you seem to be going through looking for this information, you might as well spend the money somewhere else. If you havent done an intake or exhaust or pulley upgrade yet they go for those first. In the mean time you can still look up information on CPU add ons and upgrades.

thanks for all the info anyway guys, but i've decided as borjaq said, to do some other things instead. ive already got in intake and think ill upgrade to an ej25 next. i was really surprised how cheap they are and i hope to see a nice power difference.

A chip is a good upgrade, but I got the ProECM and for the price I was a bit dissapointed even though I've heard a lot of good things about it. Do more research online and you might find a chip you like or even better, a new chip might come out...
