Cobb AP question!

Hey guys, quick question. Buying a used AP-SUB-001 for my WRX. Guy says its married but he hooked it up to his computer and its good to go. I asked if he unmarried it and says he uninstalled it on his comp but I need to get the Cobb wiring kit so it works. Im sort of confused, since I was under the impression only Cobb could unmarry an AP. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thx!

Dont buy it. You cant unmarry any cobb product from your computer. You can only unmarry it from the car

Basically any Cobb you find will be UNMARRIED already by the seller. You need to original car to unmarry it or to pay cobb a lot of money. Don't buy it

He's an idiot. He's telling you to pay the $300 Cobb charges to unmarry an AP. Unless it's free, tell him to shove it up his ***.

Like stated it needs to be cleared from the ECU of the car,If he gives you the ecu you can do it other wise You will be buying a paper weight.I think Cobb can clear it but you will be charged for it.
