cobb accessport
i just got the cobb accessport and checked to see the current basemap was correct. But it shows "none". did i do something wrong. Ferdie from southcoast did the initialization with me. We had problems at first but managed to initialize it.

Your accessport
I have the Cobb Accessport on my 2004 Sti and when I put the base map in the same thing happened to me. I called up Cobb and asked them about this and they told me that you cannot view the base map, why this is I dont know, but you arent the only one. My initialization took about 10 minutes and then I changed my realtime map and that took about 5 seconds. Hopefully Cobb will figure something out because I dont like not being able to confirm that I am running the map that I want.

Who at Cobb told you that you can't see the basemap? That's actually the only map that the AP will show - you're SOL for the realtime. If it's showing none then it sounds like the AP isn't married to the vehicle or you somehow skipped the basemap selection. Pull out the manual and run through the initializing section. It's not a big deal, just follow the directions exactly.
