Clicking noise By turbo when accelerating

I got a 02 wrx that clicks by the turbo and aircooler side when you first accelerate and when it comes back down it clicks again as if it hase a ball runing inside.
Any ideas???

It only does it as you rav it up @ low rpm and as it comes back down.

Sounds like wastegate flutter. It's normal. If you have an aftermarket downpipe installed you'll tend to hear it more than if you were running the stock downpipe. I can't be 100% sure as I am not there to hear it. A good idea would be to meet up with another member in the know and let them hear it.

:cough:wrong forum too:cough:

not sure on the noise, but youre going to get best results by meeting up with someone for them to hear it, taking it to a shop, or recording the sound
