is there anyway you can turn your check engine light off? i don't think anything is actually wrong with my car. yesterday i was in fourth and i came across the fuel cut off point before redline, and my car jerked pretty hard, then the check engine light came on. i just found out that i was running too much boost. i turned it down and can't seem to find anything else wrong with car. but the check engine light is bugging the heck out of me. anyone know how to turn it off?? not like a simple switch or anything?

 

You might want to check the codes that the computer is giving. What you are describing sounds like something broke, too much boost and cutting off fuel is not a good combination.
