A/C is not cooling

A/C is not cooling

The a/c blows but it is not cooling at all. Can anyone point me in the direction of what it could be. I don't have a clue about cars!

i think the a/c system is like ur engine coolant, over time it needs to be refilled to be cold again....as for my car i just had it for about 2 months "brrrr it's cold in here"

how old is your car ? are you at a dead stop when its not cold? if your car is 3 plus years old and you live somewhere like arizona where ac is on almost all the time then you might need to recharge your coolant.

Actually the a/c doesnt even cool when i'm moving. My Impreza is a 2000. I'm going to have it checked out this week but I just wanted to know what it could be. It happened from one day to the next, it just stopped working!

well this happened to my friend, where his a/c hoses were all messed up, but that's a 10 year old maxima we're talking about here. but in your case, most likely it's your ac coolant that is out. keep us posted.
