Unhappy Bouncing Boost 2.5-3.5kRPM

(Yes i did searches)

I've had my AP for about 2 months now. and everything was going well till about a week ago. Then suddenly it's like the turbo turned off.

My car has been behaving:
* Gears 2-5:
~ at 2600 RPM the boost starts bouncing till around 3300 RPM
~ then engine stabilizes and the boost maxes out at 10psi (at WOT)
~ it's as if the car is confused on how much to boost... then makes a decision... but it's the wrong decision... 10psi
* in 3,4,5th gears, going from 3.5kRPM to 5kRPM is a crawl.
* In 5th gear, car will simply not go above 4kRPM

** Could it be that i "knocked" my car? and now it's slow

Things i have tried:
* Reset ECU via AP (base map is Stg2-93Oct)
* Loaded Realtime HWG Stg2-93Oct

Things I will try (in order):
1. Hard Reset
2. Reflash basemap (Stg2-93Oct)
3. Reflash basemap (HWG Stg2-93Oct)
4. play Warcraft 3 till problem goes away
5. Have local shop "plug" into my car and look for knock, etc (any suggestions on what else to look for? boost leak?).
6. If no knock, I'll try adjusting the Wastegate Arm
7. Change fuel filter (is this a stretch?)
8. Inspect injectors (is this a stretch too?)
9. Dump some heavy duty fuel system cleaner into the gas tank (laast resort)

Some notes:
* I do NOT have: 3/16th mod, BOV
* I am using the stock airbox
* I am catless all the way
* I only use Shell 93oct
* I am in chicago and the weather always fluctuates: snow, sun, 16deg to 40 deg... and my car did just fine for the last 2 months.

Thank you for your help in this. BTW, i did do searches; the results didn't really correlate with having as low of boost as 10psi after 2 months of "learning".

Have you tried running withou the AP ? Try that and see if this goes away. Remove the AP and resent the ECU. This way you can tell if it is directly related to something the AP is doing.

Try that and then go from there.
