Boost Issues w/ XEDE STG 1

I'm continuing to have tuning issues. If you've read my previous threads, I may have been going about tuning the wrong way. Instead of focusing on the timing, it looks like the car has been overboosting (>0.12 Mpa).

My car is at stage 1 (XEDE) and is running the stock turbo w/ the stock restrictor. I have the alcy injection turned off (unplugged). I've reset the ecu many times.

Back to basics:
Am I supposed to be targeting a boost of 0.12Mpa? With the stage 1 map, my boost is climbing up to 0.14 Mpa on my boost gauge. I've tried scaling the boost (0-100%) values back with little effect.

Yesterday, I flashed the valet map and it can boost 0.06 Mpa. If I take info on the xede maps literally, I should not be getting any boost with the valet maps. (Map 4,Boost values set to 0%=no boost???).

Any ideas of where I need to troubleshoot to drop the boost down to what it needs to be? (I presume the target is 0.12Mpa for stage 1). Could it be a problem with the stock boost controller?

Help appreciated.

i was getting 1.2 bar with the stage 1 map. thats what it should be. with stage 2 im getting 1.4 bar. you may have a leak in one of the boost lines.

You need to do the 3/16th mod on the boost line or you boost readings will be off.... try swapping out the stock restrictor. I ran a stage 1 with no problems and had a boost reading of 0.11 - 0.12 Mpa. Also, the info I have given is concerning an Stage 1 WRX not an STi. Hope that helps ...
