Best Place to buy a UTEC?

Finally got my tax refund so now it is time to buy a UTEC!
Where is the best (cheapest) place to get one?
I also want the switch to switch maps, is that included?
Any tips on installing them not covered in the manual?
I've also heard that the ECU will log everything so the UTEC can be detected even if you've taken it off. Is this true and if it is, can I just reset the ECU and clear it?
Thanks for your help!

I too was looking for a good price and i bought mine from WorldOne Performance for 975 shipped... they are based in Seattle. I purchased on a wednesday and it arrived on friday of the same week. They have good costumer service. I don't really know if it is a cheap price, but it was still better than $999
Occasionally, i see that WorldOne would sell a UTEC for 950 shipped. I wasnt that lucky.
Just try and browse the for sale forums in this website and NASIOC.
The remote switch is not included with the UTEC, i am still waiting for mine.
The UTEC has a wiring harness so its easy to plug in. Most of the time is spent uncovering the factory ECU. To install it on top, you just need to use those standoffs that come with the UTEC.
Installing the ABC is also a breeze.
i am far from being an expert on these things..still just a newb, so i dont know about the UTEC detection on the ECU.

Didn't Freddie already tell you? Or is he being shady and wanting it for himself.
Hey if anyone is interested in the UTEC for one of the above mentioned prices (lower) then contact me and I know where there are a couple available and ready to ship!!!
Don't pay $999 or even $975!!!
Thanks,
Brian
