Benefits of using AP along with AVCR boost controller

Benefits of using AP along with AVCR boost controller
What are the benifits of getting an Apexi boost controller, if i already have a custom tuned Cobb AP which is controlling boost. I have heard spool up will be quicker, what else? Im trying to gauge if it is worth my money to get one.
