Element tuning has a full standalone ecu with alot of features. Has what i really like auto tune if you buy the supported wide band o2 sensor. Check there site out http://www.elementtuning.com/main.htm

That's the new Hydra Nemesis. It's not thiers. It belongs to Andrew Nam of quantum performance.

I'm currently running that system on my 2.5 RS-T.
I love it, but I'm waiting for the WBO2 kit to come in.

yeah kinda old thread but incase anyone is wondering and searching for info on the hydra. i am currently on a list on nasioc waiting for phil at element tuning to get me a hydra. he's supplying from what i hear, all the sick projects and high powered cars with this list. they are way behind on hydra production so phil has his hands tied right now but is doing an excellent job of getting the tuned hydras out the door asap once he does get them.
as far as the wideband O2 goes, i guess the ntk sensors that plug and play with the hydra had the wrong connectors so phil isn't sure about when they're gona b available. he said he's may be able to pull some strings and get the out to a handful of ppl who wanted the hydra O2 package from element. i believe its $1609 for the whole shabang.
he's a rediculous tuner, so far he's just been slapping the hydras and even before minor tuning they start right up and run just fine. my situation is gona b interesting. i hav a 6psi wastegate spring in my tial 35mm, t3/t4, blitz fmic, ej22t short block, rs heads, ludespeed piping, prodrive round tip and ss midpipe, RC750cc injectors. phil informed me that with the super low compression from the ej22t block and rs head combo i will b fine without the ntk wideband and auto tune option on in the hydra as long as i keep the boost down near that 6psi spring. once i get the ntk and i can auto tune and turn the closed loop option on i can do some minor tweeking and let the hydra tune me to 12-15psi. i'd go higher but my stock valvetrain will float and my gears will strip so i need som head work and probably version 5 RA gears and rear to hold the 25-30 psi daily driven that the ej22t block is known for loving!

I'm looking at this EM as well. I want to see how the auto-tune feature works in real life before I start to invest money though. If it works, it would be awsome as we have no AWD dynos here in Hawaii. $1600 is a sick price for full stand alone and WBO2.
apparently when i talk to phil he's extremely confident with the system. the auto tune hasn't had any issues yet and his tuning ability is phenominal. all the hydras that hav been put in start right up and run great. minor tuning is needed for low boost applications. i highly recommend it based on what i've heard so far from happy customers.
