Aem Ems

hey all just wanted some info on the aem ems for 02 wrx - someone's info that actually uses and their opinions. i need good ems for my car as I am running all APS h/o stuff. i was going to run ecutek but there isn't a very reliable tuner out here - which goes for utec, etc. that considered the only good place is trying to sell me aem or motec
thanks, dub.

I am running the Hydra EMS, and so far I love it.... very easy to use, incredible resolution, DL etc etc.

The AEM EMS is very very powerfull. I love my AEM EMS, I am glad I didnt listen to all the people who said oh just get a utec and AEM's support is terrible. Well all those people were wrong the AEM is awesome there tech support and service is top notch. I havent yet delt with a company as good as them. There is the AEM forums which you should read a lot of. there is tons of information there that has been posted by users and AEM EMS engineers. The EMS does come with a basemap however it needs tuning and switched over to the GM EBCS, otherwise there isnt much boost control. I hit 18.4 PSI on the stock turbo with the factory solenoid. There isnt any tuned maps out there besides the basemap for the wrx. that is one of the big downsides, but if your having a shop tune it for you it doesnt matter. I really hope to see more EMS users out there so we can start sharing some maps.
