Easy install, just plug it in
Great starter base maps
MAP or MAF based, your choice
Uses stock sensors 99% of the time
Awesome boost control, better than ALL others I have tried (Utec, SBC-ID, MBC, AVCR, UniChip)
Open or closed loop fueling
Integrated wide band o2 sensor support (AEM UEGO)
Fully featured logging of any parameter
Launch control (speed, or switch based)(launch WITH positive boost)
Traction control (very cool, cut LOW 60ft in the wet)
Easy to use graphic tuning software
No2 (nitrous) support (entirely separate nitrous/fuel maps) (not that I am running it...*yet*
Great online forums to help with tech questions (www.aempower.com)
Awesome staff, that are always eager to help (you know who you are)
Cost....try to find anything with these features for anywhere near the cost!!


The AEM EMS has truly made my Frankenstein a joy to drive. Who would of thought a built EJ2.5 with ported WRX heads aftermarket cams, a T3/T4 & 850cc injectors could idle like stock, start up on the first crank in freezing temps & run a 12.2 @ 113 while still on a slipping clutch maintaining daily drivability & air conditioning, not to mention it made 340 hp & 300ft lbs at 18lbs of boost on 93 octane fuel (just wait for C16).
