Question Accessport tuning

I've done a search and read a lot of topics regarding the Accesport, but what I want to know is that with the Accesport Tuner model coming out can a tuner like I-speed still tune my car, or does the tuning need to be done by Cobb? Or am I just stuck downloading the general maps from the web? I want a custom tune with the ability to go back to stock settings and have the anti-theft setting, is that possible?

Call Cobb and ask them. They seem quite happy to answer questions all the times I've experienced them. (They also seem very busy these days, so keep trying if you can't get through)

You can't tune the AcessPORT. You will have to wait for the AcessTUNER.

ETA May 2004, according to the site.

You can only get custom tunes from Cobb or Cobb authorized dealers.

From reading the Cobb website I get the impression that any tuner could tune with the access Tuner:

Q. Can a local shop tune my ECU with the AccessPORT for me?

A. Only shops that have the AccessECU Tuning tools can create maps compatible with the AccessPORT. Other third party software, such as Techtom or EcuTek, is not compatible with the AccessPORT.

Or does Cobb not provide Access ECU Tuning tools to any shop that wants them (for a fee of course)?
