If you mean access port.......YES. Well worth it. I had my Access port installed at Gruppe-S with a custom base map tuned for my mods on my car.

05 sti..........I went from 235 at the wheels to 262 at the wheels just from new base map and tuning. Thats a pretty significant gain for just some tuning and an access port. originally the sti is about 225 at the wheels stock. But that 10 was a gain from dp and cbe. then the AP brought everything together.

Plus you get real time maps with the AP. Valet mode - doesnt rev over 32oo rpm's. Anti theft mode - kills injectors. Economy mode - better gas mileage on long trips. So its got some cool stuff you can do with it.

If you plan mods for more power, then the answer is 'yes'. The AccessPORT is great at supporting mods like exhaust, upgraded turbo, bigger intercoolers, and injectors (with proper tuning, if deviating from Cobb's recipe for success).

You didn't list your current modifications, if any. If your car is bone stock right now, consider some minor suspension stuff or brake upgrades to better cope with the additional power first.
