2002 WRX ECU location

2002 WRX ECU location
I have looked all over for this, but does anyone know if there are instructions to swapping 2002 wrx ECU's? Do i even need instructions, or is it self explanatory once i see it. Also where is it? thanks

Its under the carpet in the front of the front passenger footwell. Just some screws, should be simple. See where the carpet is held with plastic plugs and take them out. Unscrew the cover off and its cake from there. Be sure that you are properly grounded before touching the ECU or its casing.
