DCCD Swap into 02 WRX

I've got a 02 WRX and I've swapped in a 6-speed tranny that has the DCCD, but I don't know if it will work with my current setup. I'd like to upgrade to the DCCD but can't seem to find any information on how to do it. What additional parts do I need to get? Does the DCCD have its own ECU? If so, where is it located? Etc...

Any help would be great. Oh, also, if there are any pictures, those would be great too.

Thanks

P.S. I (obviously) know next to nothing about Subarus yet - just recently bought the WRX after having an '88 BMW 535i, so all this stuff is pretty new to me. As I said, any info helps me a lot, and is really appreciated.

Hey ... I got my DCCD ecu from Rallispec
I mounted it under the center console just infront of the shifter, right under that little tray.

You will be basically a RWD car until you roll the selector forward. Then it will act like like a 4WD truck .... i.e. you will only only want to have it rolled forward when you're on something like dirt, gravel, snow, etc. or when you're not turning too much.
It acts like that because you won't have the additional sensors that come in the STi ... I'm not sure if they can be used to allow the unit to operate in Auto mode.

Good luck
