I got an '02 WRX wagon w/Vishnu Stage 0. I want to more power but minimize loudness (although a dose of boxer-rumble would be great!). I want to minimize droning in the car when traveling around. Here's some questions:
1) what is the power difference between 2.5" and 3" turbo back exhaust?
2) will a 2.5" be more quiet (that you can notice)?
3) if I were to simply add the Stromung primary DP w/waste gate and add a Stromung Catback to the other stock exhaust components (ie third cat) would this make since to do and would noise be reduced and have a noticible power gain over just a catback? Could this be done with either the 2.5" and or 3"?

I have to say, the 3" dual tip cat back sounds f*cking awesome on my '04 STi. Even without a down-pipe or up-pipe, the tone is very nice. I am 100% satisfied with this exhaust and I'd totally recommend it.
