Gruppe-S Oil Cooler Install Special - $675 Installed!!!
Hey all,
Track season is in full swing so to celebrate, we thought we'd have an install special on an often over-looked and very important component: oil-coolers. We cannot underscore the importance of this mod enough for hard driven WRXs and STis. If you're tracking your car, you should be running an oil cooler.
Gruppe-S Oil Cooler Kit - $675 Installed!
This Oil Cooler kit was introduced to the public after testing several iterations on Brian Lock's USTCC race car in the deserts of Arizona. The stock WRX and STi lack an oil cooler and running any turbo charged motor hard puts an extreme load on the motor's cooling systems and fluids. Keeping your oil cool not only prolongs the life of your oil but more importantly, it prolongs the life of your motor. This is one of the most overlooked upgrades on the WRX / STi and we feel that anyone who drives their turbocharged vehicle hard should have one. Perhaps that's why the Spec. C comes with an oil cooler from the factory. This oil cooler is track tested on a race winning vehicle and data logs show that it works. In comparison to competitors' oil coolers, the Gruppe-S Oil Cooler features an extremely high quality European core manufactured by a world famous brand and a thermostat of similar quality.
Key Features:
*High quality European core (240mm x 120mm x 45mm), not some Taiwanese knock off core.
*Thermostat operated Oil Cooler to avoid cooling cold oil upon startup.
*Aerospace fittings / stainless steel lines, professionally assembled and tested to 1000psi.
*Light weight mounting brackets.
