The verdict is in on the 07 STI... 2 badly cracked ringlands caused excessive oil consumption. The extremely low oil level lead to a loss of pressure and destroyed the #1 rod bearing. Of course there is now bearing material all over the place. This will be a fun one to clean up.

One of our recent builds just got done with his break-in and came in yesterday for the final tune. Here are the results.
This is Matt's 07 STI with the following:
EQ Stage 2 Shortblock
EQ Stage 1 Heads (stock cams)
Element Tuning GT52 w/ upgraded internal wastegate actuator
TXS FMIC w/ EQ Tuning Blow-Through Piping and Tial BOV
Perrin Inlet
EQ Tuning Baffled Catch Can
EQ Tuning Air Pump Block-Off Plates
Catted Downpipe with Greddy Evo 2 Catback
DW1300cc injectors
Aeromotive in-tank pump
Golan Fuel Filter
Hallman MBC
Stock Headers
EQ Custom Tune on E85
Here is the dyno chart done in 4th gear at 24.5psi tapering to 23psi (no smoothing):

The car feels amazing on the road... extremely smooth with a huge consistent pull that just doesn't quit. It also has great transient response for this power level. I'm very happy how this build turned out and I'm constantly impressed with this turbo.
Thanks

Today we finished upgrading a car that we built an engine for over a year ago. We installed a Blouch Dominator 3XTR, converted to top feed injectors with ID2000's, all custom fuel lines, Aeromotive FPR, Aeromotive Stealth fuel pump, Golan fuel filter and EQ CAI.
We finished the tune today on E85 at 24psi tapering to 23psi and made 430whp/425ft-lbs. This is on an internal wastegate so we could not get anymore boost out of the turbo. I'm sure we could easily hit 450-460whp with an EWG and a bit more boost
