So, hate Vishnu all you want, but isn't at the bottom of the ladder. I used to be a pretty big fan of UTEC, until Shiv showed me how much better the Xede is. Shiv is the best tuner in this country for subie tuning. His parts line up may not be the best, but i know his tuning at least is. If you don't care to accept that, at least accept and admit that he's up there, and can hold his own against any other tuner in this country.

Feel some hesitation at 4000RPMs? Fix it yourself. Want to dump in some race gas at the drag strip. Tune it yourself. You are the only one who can maximize each setting, and it is mainly because you are THERE!
Learn to tune yourself and you will have a faster car for it.

So a question must be asked, and this question is about conflicts of interest. I will ask it later in a different, more appropriate, thread and area of this forum when i have the time to type up my proposal.
Proposal?? Please stop posturing just because you got a little embarrassed on a message board. It comes off sounding like trolling. I'm sure you've done your research to see what BAN SUV has posted in other threads, gauging his knowledge and so forth, probing for either a technical or psychological weakness, but message board posts are just snippets of what people choose to share with us. I think BAN SUVS has shown considerable restraint.
I don't care to hear the offhand comments and remarks about a tuner you don't care for, nor about the folks who, of their own freedom of choice, decide to do business with that tuner. As BAN SUVS has previously stated, you've given no reasons why you are unhappy with Vishnu Performance products or services. Please stop brow-beating the moderator.

To answer a couple statement that have been asked before this actually does get locked or whatever;
Go to SEMA.org, search the Member Database for Vishnu. What will you find this morning? Nothing. Search Eibach, you'll find something. What does this tell us?
So you are saying that a flagrant disregard for the law is R&D? 130mph is what the track is for.
Please, beyond all means, lock this thread as I have asked so many times before.
That man is so freaking busy, he DIDN'T want to go to SEMA, so he could work some more. His co-workers pushed him on a plane so he could go and relax, yet every day he was down there, he was calling back checking on things.
Or See the Red Evo 8 fly past you on the hwy at 130mph... and that's when you realize, what R&D really is.
Please, beyond all means, lock this thread as I have asked so many times before.

Your statement is the definition of unprofessional.
Pot meet kettle.

Tuning isn't that difficult. You just have to learn and apply some. Personally, I feel that the best potential tuner is the owner of the vehicle. Only the owner of the vehicle is the one that drives the car every day. When you get in tune with what your car needs, you are the only one that can really tune it for its max potential. Tuning requirements change from day to day and depend on the venue (daily driving, autocross, road course, drag racing, etc...). And no shop is going to be there to hold your hand after every modification and at every moment.

I don't think this thread is unwaranted. I come from the DSM world, and if you do some research you will find that most of the reputable vendors came into business as result of the need to push their hobbies to the limits. They made a name for themsevles by spending hours at the track to chase real times produced with real horse power. If it didn't work, try something different. They looked for a timeslip or a lap time more than a dollar. What they raced is what the sold. They have continued on this path. Names like Buschuur, Extreme, FP, and Road Race come to mind.
That started to change 3-4 years ago. There was a whole string of companies trying to cash in. Anybody who could steal and idea and had the ability to make a website, was suddenly the best tuner in the country. The DSM community has been tainted ever since. One company claimed to be able to run extremely high boost pressures on pump gas with a new hybrid turbo. They ran around all anywhere they could to pump this turbo. People who didn't know better bought them up and kissed every word. But the company didn't have independently documented track times or dyno slips. Turns out that the turbos where so poorly designed, that the "boost pressure" was really the exhaust pressure moving across the head to the intake.
Long story short, the company was bashed at almost every corner by some of the long time hard core DSMers Why? The company created a bogus product, with bogus claims, and took real money from real people. It took a long time for everybody to get the picture. Some still didn't get it.
Two very important cars have been imported in the last two years. How many companies do you think sell products for them? How many do you think had any real world experience with them at the time they opened for business. It took years for the performance of DSMs to get to were they are now. Bottom line is that, these people are learning off YOUR money. They are experimenting with YOUR money and they may never get it right.
Everybody should take a step back. Dyno slips and track times can be faked. If a company is not making the times at the drag strip or a track in real competion, then stay far far away. Put up or shut up! It's that simple. That way you don't have to be worried about being ripped off. What you see is what you get.
And if all else fails, go back to the old DSM attitude and do it your damn self. You might stretch your brains and learn a thing or two.

I don't want you to actally answer this question if you are not comfortable doing so, but I want to know who the turbo company is that you are talking about. Did they come about in the past two years or so? If so I think I know who they are and know what you are talking about.

now, slightly more on topic...vishnu uses conservative dynos and get customer's track times...based on their hp ratings and their track times i would say they are very accurate...but ive never tried any of their products...so take my opinion w/ a grain of salt.

geeeze man, welcome to last week. As Axle Rose so quaintly put it in "Don't Damn Me"
"Don't damn me
When I speak a piece of my mind
'Cause silence isn't golden
When I'm holding it inside
'Cause I've been where I have been
An I've seen what I have seen
I put the pen to the paper
'Cause it's all a part of me"
He continued...
"I know you don't wanna hear me cryin'
An I know you don't wanna hear me deny
That your satisfaction lies in your ILLUSIONS
But your delusions are yours and not mine
We take for granted we know the whole story
We judge a book by its cover
And read what we want
Between selected lines"
Wait, there is still more that applies...
"Vicarious existence is a f***ing waste of time
So I send this song to the offended
I said what I meant and I've never pretended
As so many others do intending just to please
If I damned your point of view
Could you turn the other cheek"
Have a great day!
