Hey i want to no a good RPM to launch my subura impreza...i have a race tomorrow against a supra...hook me up

NO NO JUST KIDDING!

Most people, in order to save their trannys, rev up to 4k ish and slip the clutch, as opposed to popping the clutch and messing up the input shaft.

 

at the track or on the street?

at the track, if you're running a 5/10ths tree floor it on the first yellow, and then slip the clutch out on the last yellow, you'll launch under boost and get out of the hole quick.

dont slip the clutch too much or you'll be smelling it forever!!!

if you dont launch under boost, then it will be a slow start for you

 

4-5.5k where you feel comfortable, be sure to slip the clutch, do not dump it
